The lecture "XML-Datenbanken / XML-Databases deals with methods and approaches, which are used to store and efficiently access large XML data in the area of native XML databases. XML is the current standard to exchange data, but anyway, data is increasingly often natively stored and processed in the XML format. In the lecture, we especially discuss native XML methods and approaches. We discuss the current status in research of the still young XML area.
