Prof: Groppe delivered talk about QC4DB@WoQ'25

Please see the slides of my talk at the World of Quantum'25 in Munich for our results of Quantum Computing for databases including:
- accelerating query optimization of SQL queries with quantum computers
- optimizing transaction schedules with quantum computers
- predicting the cardinality of SQL queries with quantum computers
Our applied methods include quantum machine learning, quantum evolutionary algorithms, quantum annealing, and some more.
In the talk I discussed for which approaches we have achieved
- competitive performance compared to classical approaches,
- better theoretical runtime complexities, and
- better performance for data and queries from popular benchmarks than existing classical approaches.
In the talk I also provide an overview over our acitivities in the project and the impact of the QC4DB project on research in that field.
