Cloud- und Web-Technologien (CWT)

Beschreibung des Inhaltes

In der Veranstaltung "Cloud- und Web-Technologien (WebTech)" werden wir grundlegende Technologien, Sprachen, Spezifikationen, Werkzeuge und Tools kennen lernen, um Informationen im Web zu verarbeiten, zu speichern und darzustellen.

Die Grundlagen des Semantic Webs insbesondere das Datenmodell, die Anfragesprache sowie Ontologien werden eingeführt, um den Anforderungen der Verarbeitung von immer größer werdenden heterogenen Web-Datensätzen gewachsen zu sein.

Danach wird auf die Multiplattform-Entwicklung mit Kotlin eingegangen und dessen fortgeschrittene Programmierkonzepte.

Es werden auch die Verarbeitung von sehr großen Datenmengen im Web mittels der Cloud-Technologien Hadoop MapReduce, Pig und Apache Flink thematisiert. Insbesondere werden die Umsetzung von relationalen Operatoren in MapReduce behandelt wie auch Stromverarbeitung und knotenzentrische Programmiermodelle in Flink.

Kurz wird wird auf die Darstellung von Informationen auf Client-Seite im Web-Browser eingegangen sowie die Programmierung auf der Server-Seite am Beispiel von PHP behandelt.

In den Übungen wird das in der Vorlesung erlernte Wissen praktisch vertieft. Jede Übungseinheit findet direkt am Rechner statt, damit der Studierende konkrete Probleme mit den besprochenen Technologien umsetzen kann.

Beschreibung des Inhaltes

In der Veranstaltung "Webbasierte Informationssysteme" werden wir grundlegende Technologien, Sprachen, Spezifikationen, Werkzeuge und Tools kennen lernen, um Informationen im Web zu verarbeiten, zu speichern und darzustellen.

U.a. wird wird auf die Darstellung von Informationen auf Client-Seite im Browser eingegangen. Es werden die wesentlichen Sprachen HTML, CSS und Javascript vorgestellt. Danach wird die Programmierung auf der Server-Seite am Beispiel von PHP behandelt. Auch auf die Multiplattform-Entwicklung mit Kotlin wird eingegangen.

Die Grundlagen des Semantic Webs insbesondere das Datenmodell, die Anfrage- und Regelsprache sowie Ontologien werden eingeführt, um den Anforderungen der Verarbeitung von immer größer werdenden heterogenen Web-Datensätzen gewachsen zu sein.

Es werden auch die Verarbeitung von sehr großen Datenmengen im Web mittels der Cloud-Technologien Hadoop MapReduce, HBase, Hive und Pig thematisiert.

In den Übungen wird das in der Vorlesung erlernte Wissen praktisch vertieft. Jede Übungseinheit findet direkt am Rechner statt, damit der Studierende konkrete Probleme mit den besprochenen Technologien umsetzen kann.
