Topic: Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence

Start: The seminar will starts in the second semester week. 

Requirements: This seminar is not graded. The module is considered passed if the following criteria are met: Preparation and presentation of a chosen topic within the scope of the seminar, taking part in a minimal number of the discussions about the other presentations as well as a short report at the end about the relation of the own topic to other presentations and the discussions.

Language: The seminar will be held in English.

 

Content:

The seminar is about the intersection of computer science and cognitive science with the goal of improving "human-centered artificial intelligence". Current topics in the field of human centered AI, human-robot interaction, intelligent systems, cognitive modeling, human-aware AI and related topics will be presented and discussed.

At the beginning, key terms are introduced and requirements for presentations are also presented and discussed in detail. Each participant prepares a self-selected topic and presents it at a scheduled time. Some topic suggestions will be provided but you are also welcome to come up with own ideas and topics of interest as long as they fit into the scope of this seminar. There will be an appreciative and interested discussion.
