Fallstudie zur professionellen Produktentwicklung / zu Modul CS4520-KP12

The IFIS is offering a Case Study on Professional Product Development CS4520-KP12 with the topic of Smart Technology for Group Awareness – Communication Support for Firefighters.

In a collaborative project with Dräger and the TH, students will develop conceptual ideas to support firefighters through information analysis and situationally adaptive information display using AI. Dräger will introduce the students to the topic and provide materials for prototype construction and testing.

The project combines fields such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Ubiquitous Computing, Wearable Computing, Information Visualization, and safety-critical systems. The goal is to make a practical contribution to improving communication and safety for firefighters on the job. Students will work independently on the project as a group, holding regular meetings to report on progress and discuss any issues.
