University of Lübeck acquires new LEMMI research building

LEMMI is the abbreviation for "Lübeck Environment For Minds And Machines In Interaction"

Prof. Nele Rußwinkel: "At LEMMI, together with our colleagues from psychology, we want to research how people - including older people or young children - can recognize artificial intelligence as such, how we experience it (for example, as trustworthy) and interact with it, for example with robots. In the new building, the necessary laboratories will be created in which everyday contexts, such as children playing or working in an office, as well as highly specialized situations or critical contexts, such as robot-assisted surgery, can be researched."
